Senate Square

Senate Square

Washington DC

The former Capitol Children's Museum and its adjoining city block are transformed into a vibrant residential high-rise community. Passive green roofs and active-use recreation areas, including swimming pools, shade-lined entertainment terraces, game boards, grilling stations, and intimate seating groups, are located on the top of each new structure.  Extensive perennial, ornamental tree, and shrub gardens enhance views to and from the building’s roof terraces, providing beauty for the residents.  The courtyard gardens at street level, replete with water fountains, stone terraces, custom metal rails and fencing, and accent lighting create a grand entry for this urban development.
