1 - Landscape Architect/Project Manager (Licensed LA with 6+ years’ experience)

2 - Landscape Architect/Design Staff (3+ years’ experience, License a plus)

Clinton & Associates is seeking qualified landscape architects and landscape architects with project management experience to join our creative design team in our Maryland office.  Our wide variety of projects consist of large-scale mixed-use developments, high-rise multifamily dwellings with rooftop and courtyard amenities, urban streetscapes, parks, and plazas, master planning, private residential estates, and institutional campuses.

Ideal candidates:

·         Will be self-motivated, dedicated, organized, collaborative team members, with strong written and verbal communication skills, hand-sketching, rendering, digital design skills, and design aptitude. 

·         Must have the desire and ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, meet deadlines, work effectively in collaborative teams, and have strong client-service focus. 

·         Will demonstrate work experience from concept design through construction documents, construction administration, and including contractor communication and site work experience. 

·         Will embody leadership qualities and initiative on team-based projects within and outside the office.

·         Free-hand sketching, 3-D design and graphic abilities, and horticultural knowledge are a plus. 

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture

3+ or 6+ years of experience with design firm

Licensure/Registration in Landscape Architecture or on track for licensure

Technical expertise in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, Microsoft Office (3D rendering programs are a plus)

Excellent graphic, written, and verbal communication skills

Driven by design and collaboration

Responsible, self-motivated and hard-working


3 - Landscape Architect/Horticulturist/Creative Designer (4+ years)

Clinton & Associates is seeking to fill a unique position that incorporates landscape architecture, horticulture, and the decorative arts.  This full-time position requires a dynamic, high-energy, detail oriented plants-person who works well independently as well as being a reliable member of our landscape architecture design team. 

Candidates will:

·         Be responsible for managing, designing, organizing, procuring, cost estimating, project tracking, and on-site layout for seasonally rotated decorative planted containers located throughout several high-end, retail-oriented commercial developments. 

·         Be responsible for all FF&E (Furnishings, Finishes & Equipment) projects, including client communications, research, presentations, ordering, procurement, tracking, and budgeting. 

·         Support senior staff in typical landscape architectural design and technical work.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture

Horticultural knowledge of landscape plants, plant culture, and plant maintenance (Degree or focus in horticulture is a plus)

Positive attitude and ease working with clients, contractors, vendors, and design teams

Strong and clear communication skills

Desire to work hands-on in the field with contractors
