Clinton & Associates Landscape Architects is seeking experienced Project Landscape Architects to join our professional design office and contribute to our growing design team. Working with Principals on complex urban landscape projects, parks, plazas, campus plans, mixed-use developments, public spaces of all scales, and private estates, the successful candidate will lead and manage internal project design teams and manage external coordination with clients and consultants.

We are specifically looking for licensed, experienced, self-motivated, confident candidates with landscape architecture project management fluency, intuitive design and detailing expertise, and a passion for urban landscapes, the built environment, and horticulture.  


  • BLA, MLA

  • 6-10 years of experience in a professional office

  • Excellent project management skills/experience through construction documentation, construction administration, and construction phases of large and medium scale projects

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational capacity

  • Skilled hand sketching and hand rendering proficiency

  • Excellent 2D and 3D design and technical skills with proficiency in AutoCAD, SktechUp and other design and rendering programs

  • Creative problem solving and delivery of clear concepts to colleagues and clients

  • Ability to smoothly manage workflow and the work of design teams in and out of the office

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced creative environment with tight deadlines

  • Collaborative and team-oriented

  • Strong work discipline with exceptional self-management skills

  • Interest and proficiency in horticulture, plant identification, plant ordering, and planting design

  • Experience in FF&E contracting, design, ordering, managing, and installation

  • Not afraid to get your hands dirty and work outside managing consultants and contractors

  • Registration or License in Landscape Architecture REQUIRED
